Behind the Scenes

Relying on the ingenuity of the director Martin Shapiro and his cinematographer, we worked hard to eke out every last drop of cinematic magic from what would be considered a low budget by Hollywood standards. The biggest challenge was getting enough coverage within such a short 4-day shooting schedule. All scenes were shot at night, so we were limited to the hours between sunset and sunrise.

We shot Chopper in one location, a scary automobile junkyard in Whittier, California. Night exterior scenes with motorcycle stunts and fight sequences are expensive to shoot. It requires safety protocols, more lighting, more camera gear, and a larger crew. We also cast professional SAG actors with many years of experience.

News

We produced a short horror film based on the CHOPPER comic book series. The film will premiere at ScreamFest in Los Angeles and is being submitted to other film festivals around the world. It serves as a proof of concept that we're now showing to studios, production companies, sales agents, and film investors to get a feature film financed.
